Our Team

Coenie matriculated at Pionier High School in Vryheid, KwaZulu-Natal. He obtained a BCom (Law) degree in 1994 at the University of the Free State and in 1997 he obtained a BProc degree whilst working at Webber Attorneys in Bloemfontein.

As Managing Director of Vorster & Steyn, his focus lies in personal, effective and professional management of the law firm, ensuring effective, productive and compassionate relationships with clients and among the firm's team.

Jeanne joined Vorster & Steyn in February 2019 as an Associate Conveyancer, Notary and Attorney. She completed her BCom (Law) and LLB degrees at Stellenbosch University. She commenced her articles at Miltons Matsemela Inc in January 2009 and was admitted as an Attorney, Notary and Conveyancer in April 2009.

From 2009 she worked in the estates department at PwC in Stellenbosch, then moved to Upington in 2010 where she worked at Malan and Partners until returning to the Western Cape in February 2019. Jeanne is an avid reader and enjoys hiking and travelling.

Justin matriculated at Hermanus High in 2015 and immediately joined Vorster & Steyn Attorneys in 2016. He served his articles, obtained his LLB degree cum laude in 2020, working during the day and studying in his evenings. His dedication culminated in his admission as an attorney in 2021.

Justin is passionate about property law, commercial agreements and estate administration. He is actively involved in many clubs in Hermanus, including the Hermanus Mountain Bike club and the Hermanus High's Moot Court initiative, inspiring students to pursue careers in law.

Tertia joined Vorster & Steyn in January 2021 as an Associate Conveyancer and Attorney. She commenced her articles at PH Incorporated in 2010 and completed her LLB at UNISA in 2013. She was admitted as an Attorney in 2013 and as a Conveyancer in 2015, specialising in bond registrations and client relationship management.

She returned to the Western Cape in 2020. Tertia enjoys walks on the cliff paths in beautiful Hermanus, spending time with her family, reading self-development books and attending creative project workshops.
